The origins of the today´s PV.-Group is the P.V. Fertig-Schacht GmbH, Hanau, which was found in 1985 by Mr. Gerhard Preisendörfer and Mr. Konstantinos Varvaroussis. With the constant development a name as a special regional supplier was gained for the manhole. The manhole base unit is still a core product of the P.V.-Group. The only factory in Germany that produces besides manhole constructions also special concret construction elements is located in Nordhausen. Since 1992 PRECO also belongs to the P.V.-Group which produces base liners from high quality PU and GRP.

In order to suit the customers wishes the firm developed through the completion of the product portfolio itself to a “system provider“ in the last two decades.

With the acquisition of the first location in Poland the product profile of the P.V-Group was expand in the pipe sector. Pipes are being produced also at the Gersdorf location since 2002.

Other aims that we constantly have pursued over the years are quality improvement and product development. The P.V.-Group is since 1998 ISO 9001-certified. In the year 2001 the company joined the TOBNORM group. The TOBNORM system offers higher building security by using socking joints with integrated compression gasket and load distribution element filled with sand.

With the start of the production of jacking pipes in the year 2005 the P.V.-Group used the trend of the construction industry to tunneling constructions in the cities.

The latest development from the P.V. is the join-less, monolithic UnoLith. The well known weak points of the base units can be avoided through this way of production which secures a very long operating time.

Over the years the strategy of “production close to the costumer“ has been consequently continued. In the meantime the P.V.-Group has risen to an international business, which is with 12 factories in Germany as well as Poland and Hungary represented.

For all existing and possible new locations the previous culture of the business should be sustained. Here is a achievement- oriented guidance of the employees in the foreground. A for all employees’ understandable flat, communicative hierarchy, connected with short decision processes which forms the basic principles of our medium sized business. The combination of modern management methods and traditional values enables the expansion of the achieved competitive advantage.

It is assured that the P.V.-Group will remain a medium sized family business which orientates itself at the costumers needs. Quality, flexibility and individual costumer support should remain in the foreground. Our aim at the P.V.-Group is to provide solutions for the customer.
